On April 29, 2021, our company participated in the termite control explanation activity given by Professor Mo from the Institute of Insect Science of Zhejiang University. Professor Mo led a field survey and gave a detailed explanation of different types of termites based on their habits, distribution, and appearance.
Professor Mo took a group of people to analyze the coptotermes, reticulitermes, and odontotermes in different places such as parks, houses, and wooden buildings, and taught us how to quickly identify the species of termites. For example, most of the termites that fly before March 15th It is reticulitermes speratus. From March 15 to the end of April, there are a small number of reticulitermes speratus and most of the reticulitermes Chinensis Snyder.
In addition, Professor Mo patiently introduced the techniques of termite nest digging, hazard inspection methods, detection methods, and bait application methods. After five hours of study, under the guidance of Professor Mo, we have a deeper understanding of termites, and we will be more comprehensive and professional in termite control.
